Noah Rubin Falls Short at Roehampton

IMG_6053566x435Roehampton – After a thrilling run to the semifinals, Noah Rubin and partner Clement Geens were eliminated Thursday at Roehampton. The duo was outplayed by the 4th seeded team of Nicholas Jarry and Frederico Ferreira Silva in a heartbreaking super-tiebreaker defeat. Despite losing the first set 6-3, Rubin and Geens rallied to win a hard fought 2nd set 7-5, but came up short in a 10-8 super-tiebreaker loss.

Rubin looks to bounce back next week in the Wimbledon juniors. He is matched up against Great Britain’s Luke Bambridge in the 1st round. JMTA’s Jamie Loeb is also set to participate and drew Viktoriya Lushkova of Ukraine in the opening round of the girl’s draw.
