Simon hails from the United Kingdom where he was ranked as high as #49 in the world ITF junior rankings. He was a standout student-athlete at the University of Louisville, where he reached career-best rankings of #6 in doubles and #49 in singles among all NCAA Division I tennis players. Simon also had success on the ATP Tour, winning multiple ATP and ITF doubles titles, including an ATP title in Mexico. Simon joined Sportime/JMTA in 2013.

Mike is one of the nation’s brightest young stars in junior coaching.After being recruited by SPORTIME’s own Jay Harris to join the Bowling Green State University squad, he led his team to two Mid-American Conference Championships and became the most successful player in the history of the program. Mike had been one of the top ranked juniors in the country prior to his collegiate career, and competed extensively in ITF tournaments around the world. After graduating, Mike quickly became one of the top coaches in the USTA Eastern Section, developing numerous nationally ranked players, while earning a Master’s degree in Education. Mike’s exceptional knowledge of the game, boundless energy, and positive attitude instill confidence in every player in his impressive stable of nationally ranked juniors.

Helena Cabezas Martí hails from Barcelona, Spain. where she was a top ranked junior player competing in many local tournaments as well as representing Catalonia in the Spanish National Tournament for 14 and 16 and under. Helena was recruited to play college tennis at Tennessee Wesleyan University, where she served as team captain for three of those years. Helena was part of a historic team by leading her squad to nationals for the first time ever for her entire four year career. Her team reached an all time high ranking of #7 in the country for NAIA. She was awarded the 2021 NAIA Woman ITA Scholar Athlete as well as All-AAC Freshman Team. Helena graduated with a degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis on Sports Journalism and a minor in Sociology. Helena has worked at Emilio Sanchez Academy prior to joining the JMTA summer of 2022.

Simon I. Campos Perez was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. Simon was a top ranked junior player, where he was ranked in his section number one in every age group. Simon also was ranked top 20 in the country during his junior career. Simon earned a full athletic scholarship to play in Union College Kentucky where the team reached an all time best national ranking of six in the country. Simon received numerous awards during his college year including rookie of the year for his region, he was selected “All-Freshman team”, All conference twice, All American Honorable mentions two times and he was NAIA player of the week. Simon earned a collegiate national ranking of 26 in the country in singles and 11 in doubles. Simon graduated in May 2022 with a Bachelors of Science. He joins our Sportime/JMTA team fall of 2022.

Originally from Long Island, Vincent moved to Tampa, Florida at the age of 12 where he trained at Saddlebrook Tennis Academy full time, training and practicing with multiple WTA and ATP players. Vincent competed in National USTA level tournaments as well as the ITF circuit. Vincent had the opportunity to play the Eddie Herr International Tournament as well as the Orange Bowl in every age division. He was recruited by Loyola University Maryland to play Division I tennis. After a successful career that was cut short due to injury, Vincent transferred and graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Advertising. Prior to joining SPORTIME/JMTA, Vincent has been coaching and traveling with nationally ranked players.

Originally from Reunion Island (FRANCE), Lois was a top ITF junior where he has been competing against the world’s best players since the age of 12. Lois has been a sparring partner for many ATP top 100 players and reached a career high of top 20 in France. Lois went on to University in the United States where he earned his Bachelors in Sports and Recreation Management with a minor in Business Management at Union College. Lois was first singles and ranked as high as 11 in the country in singles and 17 in the country in doubles. He was an NAIA All American. Lois joined our Sportime/JMTA family in the summer of 2020.

Tania Teruel Encinas was born in Almeria, Spain. As a junior tennis player she was ranked top 100 in Spain right before relocating to America. Tania played her college tennis at Northwest Missouri State University, where she played number 1 singles and doubles all four years and was captain for 3 of her years. Tania was ranked top 50 in the country in both singles and doubles during her college career. Her team reached the NCAA elite 8 in 2019. Tania majored in Criminology and joined our JMTA/Sportime team the summer of 2020.

Originally from Sorocaba, Brazil, Guilherme was a top ranked junior in his country where he reached his highest national ranking of 19 in singles and 10 in doubles. Gui was actively recruited to play college tennis in the United States and played one year for NAIA powerhouse Lewis-Clark State College before transferring to a top NCAA Division II school, Hawaii Pacific University. At HPU, Gui helped the team reach the NCAA national semifinals, placing third place in ITA team national indoors, and top 3 in NCAA rankings. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentration in marketing and was ITA scholar-athlete every year. Currently he is playing NCAA Division I tennis for Long Island University while getting his MBA. Gui has been part of SPORTIME/JMTA since the summer of 2021.

Ken is a native of Massapequa, NY, where he was one of the top junior players in all age levels in the Eastern Section and at the National level. Ken played for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln #2-#4 singles positions where he Won Big 8 titles in both #4 singles and #1 doubles. He represented Nebraska in NCAA individual doubles tournament in 1990. Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts in physical education in 1992. After his playing career ended, he went on to be the assistant coach of Nebraska for two years. Ken is also the former head pro and interim tennis director at Shelter Rock Tennis and Country Club in Manhasset, NY. After serving as Vice President in his family business for several years in New Orleans, he relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona where he formed his own academy working with adults, ATP/WTA players and high performance juniors. Ken joined JMTA Long Island as Director of Player Development the summer of 2019.

Karla was consistently ranked top Four in her country of El Salvador in every age group from 10's through 18's. Karla was recruited by Benedict College located in South Carolina where she played #1 singles for 3 consecutive years. Karla was a multiple national champion winning 3 NCAA championships (Dll). Karla also received Player of the Year accolades in 2016 for the SIAC conference and received Most Valuable Player award from Benedict College that same year. Karla was all conference singles and doubles during her time at Benedict College. She received her Bachelors degree in Accounting with a minor in Management. She continued her studies at Mount Vernon Nazarene University where she received her Master's degree and served as Graduate Tennis Assistant.

Originally from El Salvador, José began his career at a young age but began to flourish quickly reaching a career high junior ranking of top 3 nationally. Recruited to play for Division II powerhouse Benedict College, he received the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Award for outstanding play. At Benedict College, José won three consecutive DII championships and moved to the top 10 in the southern region ranking with his team. José has experience working as a tennis coach at multiple camps while he was in college. José joined our SPORTIME/JMTA team Fall of 2021.

Airam Castellano Hernández was born in Gran Canaria, Spain. He was nationally ranked top 200 in Spain when he was 16 years old and he was champion in all junior categories in Gran Canaria. Airam earned a full athletic scholarship to play for the University of Missouri-Kansas City, NCAA D1, in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in 2014. In 2017 he achieved a nationally ranking of #115 in singles after making the Elite 8 in the ITA Central Regional, and in 2018 he was nationally ranked #72 in doubles. Between 2014-2018 he was named ITA Scholar-Athlete and All WAC Academics, All WAC first team in singles and doubles, 2 times All WAC player of the month and 16 times all WAC player of the week. He won the 2016 WAC Player of the Year and helped his teammates to achieve the 2017 WAC Championship. Airam holds his school's all-time record with most wins in singles and doubles. Airam graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the Henry W. Bloch School of Management.

Alexey is a native of Minsk, Belarus, where he had a ranking in the top 5 for all junior age categories there. He has won multiple national and international tournaments and reached 530 in ITF junior rankings beating Karen Khachanov (currently ranked #17 in the world) and Egor Gerasimov (currently ranked #65 in the world) on the way. Before coming to the United States, Alexey graduated from Republic State College of Olympic Reserve with a degree in tennis coaching and exercise science. Alexey moved to the United States in 2011 and attended the University of North Alabama where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Management Degree. During his four years of his college tennis career he played #1 in doubles and top 3 in singles leading his school to a national ranking of #35 in the country. He was selected to Gulf South All-Conference team in 2014. Alexey joined our Sportime/JMTA team in 2015.

Wael Kilani

Wael Kilani is a native of Tunis, Tunisia, where he was champion in all junior categories and age groups, a Davis Cup player and the Men's Teams African Champion with his partner Malek Jaziri (currently ranked 47 in ATP). Wael has competed in three junior grand slams. He also won the Prince Cup Juniors in Miami Florida and other Juniors ITF tournaments all over the world . Wael played professional for one year before college winning one ITF future’s title in doubles.

Wael was the number 1 player for the University of South Florida where he got his bachelor degree in Business management and helped USF win the Big East conference for the first time in the school history and was chosen as the Big East Freshman of the Year . Wael was ranked NCAA top 50 in the nation in singles and doubles and top 10 in singles in the Southeast region.

Wael is certified by both the PTR and GPTCA. In 2016, Wael joined the Tunisian Federation and became the Tunisian National Coach working with the under 14, under 16 and junior categories. Wael was also selected by the ITF to coach the best junior players in the ITF junior circuit. He was the captain of the Tunisian national Team under 14 which won the African championship and qualified for the World Cup. Wael Kilani was also the 2016 Tunisian Fed Cup Coach along with coaching top ATP and WTA players.

Eric, hailing from Long Island, was one of the top junior players in the country, ranking in the top 50 nationally. He attended Penn State University where he majored in Hotel and Restaurant Management and captained the tennis team in his junior and senior years. Post college, Eric turned pro and competed against the likes of Justin Gimelstob, James Blake and Max Mirnyi. In his teaching career, Eric has produced numerous Division I collegiate players. Eric joined Sportime in 2005, and has been with JMTA since 2012.

Originally from Viña del Mar, Chile, Thais (Tati) was a top junior competitor where she competed in ITF events earning a career high ranking of #439. Tati originally committed to play tennis for West Liberty University, but then she transferred to finish her studies at Indiana University East. She received various awards such as the Venus Williams Scholarship, Newcomer of the Year, Player of the Year, Champion of Character, and All-Conference First Team. Tati was ranked in the top 10 NAIA singles in the country. After earning her degree in Business with a minor in Finance, Tati pursued her Master of Business Administration at Indiana Wesleyan University, where she continued playing tennis. She was an NAIA All-American her senior year.

Jeoffrey Noblecourt was born in Paris, France. He was a top ranked player in his home country as a junior and competed in some of the biggest tournaments in the world. Jeoffrey trained for 3 years at Nick Bollettieri’s tennis academy where he practiced and competed on a daily bases with some of the worlds best ATP players. Jeoffrey was recruited to play at Nicholls State University, where he earned first-team All-Southland for doubles and an individual title in single at the Ron Westbrooks Invitational. Jeoffrey transferred to Delta State University, where he finished his career playing No. 1 singles and doubles, while earning his degree in Finance. Post-graduation, Jeoffrey then earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Nicholls State University. Jeoffrey joined our Sportime/JMTA team the fall of 2020.

Originally from Santiago, Chile, Macandy (Maca) was ranked #1 in the nation for her entire junior career and earned a career high ITF ranking of #64 in the world for juniors. Maca competed professionally and earned a ranking as high as #578 on the WTA tour. Maca played college tennis at Division I powerhouse Texas A&M University receiving numerous awards such as SEC player of the Week and SEC All-Second team. Maca earned a Bachelor’s degree in leadership studies with two minors in Business and Economics and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration at Southern Arkansas University, where she was also the assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s tennis program.

Matt Orobona is a Long Island native from Plainview, NY and has been with SPORTIME since 2014. Matt has been involved in many areas across the company from back office club operations to Multi-Sport Director, Assistant Manager and Camp Director. Matt has a keen gift of connecting with our younger players and has become one of our most popular U10 coaches having studied extensively with our Under 10 Curriculum Guru Mike Barrell and JMTA U10 Mac Director Jared El Gayeh. Matt keeps up with current U10 innovative teaching philosophies and is always eager to continuing his coaching education and experience.

Originally from Valdivia, Chile, Fernanda was a top junior tennis player where she competed at the national level in Chile. Fernanda earned a scholarship to play in the United States at Division II powerhouse Lindenwood University. Fernanda played #1 singles and doubles for the majority of her college career. Fernanda received multiple awards while attending Lindenwood including, 2020-21 ITA Scholar-Athlete, Distinguished Scholar Honoree, and was also Awarded Athlete of the Year for her University. Fernanda graduated with a degree in Literature with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in History, gaining entry to the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society and Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.

Jordan, a life-long New Yorker, is both a seasoned tennis professional and NYS licensed School Psychologist. As a junior, he was an ETA standout, ranked nationally in every age group, competed in the US Open Junior Doubles Championships (1989), and even defeated Greg Rusedski (world ranked #4) as a teen. At Benjamin Cardozo HS, Jordan led the Judges to multiple NYC championships and Mayors Cup victories, playing #1 singles for most of his career while serving as team Captain. In 2016, he was inducted to the Cardozo Hall of Fame for his achievements. Jordan received a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was a scholar-athlete recipient during his 4-year career, ultimately playing #2 singles and #1 doubles. As a coach, Jordan previously served as Director of Junior Summer Tennis Program at the historic Piping Rock Country Club on Long Island, and is currently Tennis Director at Camp Equinunk/Blue Ridge in Pennsylvania, one of the premier sleepaway camps. For two decades, Jordan has worked as a high school psychologist, counseling students and families to help improve school performance and overall mental health. On court, Jordan employs both physical and psychological strategies to improve the tennis performance of his players.

Samantha, originally from Houston, Texas, was a top junior player, ranked as high as #200 nationally. Samantha attended McKendree University, where she played #1 singles and doubles and was the team captain as a senior. She graduated from MU with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness. Samantha coached at the IMG Academy and the Naval Academy before joining SPORTIME and JMTA in 2015.

A native of Belgium, Kim was a three-time national champion taking the singles crown at age 12, and the doubles crown twice, at the ages of 10 and 14. She also won the Belux Nike Junior tour for Belgium, at age 12, which qualified her to participate in the World Championships Nike Junior Tour in France. Kim represented Belgium in several other international team tournaments, and competed in many ITF tournaments, achieving a career high ITF ranking of 477. Kim played Division I college tennis for the University of Arizona, participating in the NCAA team tournament 3 times, as well as the All-American tournament, and achieved a career-high national collegiate ranking of #70. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French before joining SPORTIME and the JMTA in 2015.

David who was born and raised in Lar Roda, Albacete Spain was one of the top nationally ranked juniors in his country. He reached a career high national ranking of 200 in Spain at the age of 17 when he decided to pursue his tennis career playing college tennis for NAIA powerhouse Southwestern College. David was first singles and doubles throughout his career and let his team to the first conference title in his schools history. David was awarded MVP while he had an undefeated record in his conference as well as being selected to NAIA All-American Status in 2022. David joins the Sportime/JMTA family fall of 2022.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has 15+ years of experience as the Director of Tennis at Sportime Kings Park. Jason is a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional with certifications in Ten and Under Tennis and the USTA High Performance Coaching program. At Sportime, he has instigated one of the most dynamic and successful internal u10 competitive circuits with over 200 children competing at each event.

Maria is originally from Russia, where she was a top junior tennis player since she was eight years old. She has played for the Russian Federation from 2012-2017 where she achieved a career high ITF world ranking of #124. She has won multiple ITF grade 2, 3, 4 and 5 events throughout her junior career. Maria has also competed on the pro circuit winning a 15K doubles title in Georgia before committing to play college tennis in the United States at University of Indianapolis. Maria was regional champion two times during her career as well as her team winning their conference two times. Maria was crowned the ITA indoor national NCAA D2 champion in 2021 and was the NCAA singles runner up in 2021. Maria joined SPORTIME and The JMTA family in the summer of 2022
