Carlos Campo
Managing Director Westchester and Capital Region Carlos, originally from Maracay, Venezuela, reached a top-6 national ranking in Venezuela as a junior in Boys 18s. He went on to play at Campbell University, where he majored in Sports Management and Business. After college, Carlos played on the pro tour before transitioning into coaching. Carlos has coached and trained junior and adult players, form beginners to nationally ranked players. He joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2009 and currently SPORTIME’s Regional General Manager for Westchester. |

Alberto Romea
Director of Tennis, SPORTIME Lake Isle/Director, JMTA Westchester Alberto, who hails from Zaragoza, Spain, grew up competing with players the likes of Nadal, Almagro and Verdasco. He held a top-8 ranking in Spain from the age of 10, and represented his country in 1998 Junior Davis Cup competition alongside compatriots Nadal and Almagro. Alberto was a top recruit to Auburn University at Montgomery, where he was the NAIA Rookie of the Year in 2006, and the NAIA Ward-Ballinger Outstanding Player of the Year in both 2008 and 2010. Alberto won National Championships at AUM in 2008 and 2010, finishing his NCAA career ranked number 1 in the nation in singles and doubles. Alberto graduated from AUM, with honors, in 2013, having earned a BA in Management and an MBA in International Business. Alberto was the Assistant Director of Tennis at the Greenwich Country prior to joining the Sportime/JMTA team in 2013. He was promoted to Director of Tennis for Sportime Lake Isle and Director of JMTA Westchester in July 2019. |

Brandy Givens
Assistant General Manager Brandy is a native New Yorker, who was born and raised in the Bronx. She studied hospitality and management at Monroe College, acquiring skills she has used daily since she came to SPORTIME. Brandy started as a Concierge and then as the Bookkeeper at SPORTIME’s Randall’s Island location, before transferring to SPORTIME Lake Isle in 2014. At Lake Isle, she has earned a number of promotions, from Office Supervisor to Account Manager to her current position as Assistant General Manager. Brandy joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2007. |

Marcio Souza
Assistant General Manager Marcio, originally from Taubate – Sao Paulo, Brazil, graduated in a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Manhattanville College where he also worked as assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. Marcio was recognized for his performance both on and off the field when he received the President’s Honor Roll by Heartland Conference (NCAA Division II – Athletic & Academic Excellence) in 2012-2013. He is a U10 certified coach and NASM certified personal trainer. He joined Sportime in 2016. |

Mario Leguizamon
Assistant Academy Director Mario, a native of New York, has been a traveling coach for players competing on the ITF Junior Circuit, as well as coaching pros and amateurs at the Futures and US Nationals levels. He has also coached All-American collegiate players and touring pros at both the US Open and Wimbledon. He has held national rankings in both Men's 30s and 35s. Mario has over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience and joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2011. |

U10 Tennis Director Alex is a native of Chappaqua, NY and a graduate of Drew University. He is USPTA Certified Professional and enjoys teaching players of all levels. Alex joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2017. |

John McEnroe
Founder and Director, JMTA John McEnroe is one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He held the #1 world ranking in singles for 170 weeks between 1980 and 1985 and was the #1 doubles player in the world for a record 257 weeks. He is the winner of 7 Grand Slam singles titles, including 4 US Open titles and 3 Wimbledon titles. He is also widely considered to be the greatest doubles player ever, having won 10 Grand Slam doubles titles. He is the greatest Davis Cup player in history, and he also captained the US Davis Cup Team. He is an Emmy-nominated commentator for CBS, NBC, BBC, ESPN and USA. John grew up in New York City, where he graduated from the Trinity School. He attended Stanford University, winning an NCAA team and singles title his freshman year. He continues to live in New York City, where he has raised his 6 children. John partnered with Sportime to open the John McEnroe Tennis Academy in September 2010.

Patrick McEnroe
Co-Director, JMTA Patrick grew up in Douglaston, NY and trained in the New York area. As a junior, he reached the semifinals of Wimbledon and the US Open boys' singles in 1983. Patrick then partnered Luke Jensen to win the French Junior doubles and the USTA Boys' 18 National and Clay Court titles in 1984. He made his first impact on the professional tour that same year, teaming up with brother John to win the doubles title at Richmond, Virginia. Patrick won the Men's Doubles Gold medal at the 1987 Pan American Games with Jensen, and helped Stanford University, as team captain, win the NCAA team championship in 1986 and 1988. He graduated from Stanford in 1988 with a degree in political science, and then joined the professional tennis tour. On the tour, Patrick won one singles title and 16 doubles titles, including the 1989 French Open Men's Doubles title, during his 10‐year professional career, and achieved career‐high rankings of World No. 28 in singles and World No. 3 in doubles. After retiring from the tour in 1998, Patrick had a successful run as U.S. Davis Cup captain, the longest tenured captain in U.S. history, winning the cup in 2007. After leaving his Davis Cup role in 2010, McEnroe focused on his television commentary work, and also served as the General Manager of Player Development for the USTA until mid-2015. Patrick joined Sportime and JMTA in 2017. |

Lawrence Kleger
Co-Director, JMTA Lawrence, a native New Yorker, is recognized as one of the top developmental coaches in the USA. He was named the USTA/Eastern Section Tennis Professional of the Year in 2013 and the USTA/Long Island Region Tennis Professional of the Year in 2006. Lawrence has trained more ranked juniors than anyone in the history of the USTA/Eastern Section. His students have won numerous USTA National Junior Championships, won more than 20 USTA Eastern Year-End Sportsmanship Awards, and have received countless full tennis scholarships to play at Top Division I colleges and universities. Lawrence was also the personal coach of Noah Rubin, who was his student at SPORTIME and JMTA from the age of 7 until he launched his professional tennis career in the summer of 2015. Noah has achieved an ATP ranking as high as 161 and, under Lawrence's guidance, Noah won countless tournaments as a junior, including the 2014 Boys' Wimbledon Championship and the 2014 USTA National Championship in singles and doubles. Lawrence joined SPORTIME in 1998 and became the Director of JMTA in 2012.

Mike Barrell
Executive Director of Tennis, SPORTIME Clubs Mike hails from the United Kingdom and has been a coach for more than 30 years. As a coach and tennis consultant worldwide, he has worked and delivered training in over 80 countries, supporting the development of tennis on five continents. Mike has been a keynote speaker at three ITF Worldwide Conferences and has presented at multiple USPTA World Conferences, PTR International Symposia, and National Conferences, and is a regular contributor to the ATP/WTA Pro Course. Mike was the author of the ITF Tennis10s manual, the Official U10 Program of many nations across the globe. His previous roles include Director of Tennis at MatchPoint in Southampton, England, and Director of Junior Tennis at the West Hants Club in Bournemouth, England. A Level Five LTA Coach, PTR Professional, and USPTA P1, Mike was also an LTA Master Tutor, ITF Expert, and PTR World Professional of the Year in 2007. In 2022 he was recognized as a PTR International Master Professional. He joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2022, bringing his coaching and coach education background to the key role of developing our coaching staff and enhancing our programs across the Company. |

Nelson Escobar
Assistant Director Nelson, a native of Ecuador, was a top-20 ranked junior player in his home country while training at the Andres Gomez Academy. He moved to the United States in 2004 to play for Union College in Kentucky, where he won two conference championships and the Most Improved Player of the Year Award. He graduated with a degree in business/marketing and management and made the Dean’s List in 2007-08. Nelson joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2012 and has over 10 years of teaching and coaching experience. |

Joshua Bill
Regional Assistant Director of Adult Tennis Josh was born and raised in Bronx, NY, where he was introduced to tennis through participation in New York Junior Tennis league programs. Soon thereafter, after showing his talent and love for the game, Josh received full scholarships to the Harlem Junior Tennis and Reebok Tennis Academies. He attended Lehman High School where he recorded a 49-2 singles record, and also achieved rankings as high as top 3 in the USTA Metro region and in the USTA Eastern division. Joshua began his coaching career at SPORTIME Harbor Island where he worked for 13 years before taking a brief hiatus to take a Director position elsewhere. Joshua returned to the SPORTIME team in 2021. |

Francisco Javi Garcia Redondo
Master Professional Javi, originally from Spain, attended the Manuel Orantes tennis academy in Barcelona, Spain, where he trained with Wawrinka and won the national championship at age 14. He moved to the United States in 2005 to play for Auburn University, where he earned his B.A in Business Management. At AUM Javi was ranked as high as #3 in the nation singles and #1 in doubles, and his team won the NAIA national championship in 2008. While completing his MBA at AUM, he was Assistant Coach of the AUM Women's team, coaching them to a National Championship and being honored as Regional Assistant Coach of the Year. Javi joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2013. |

Nei Dos Santos
Master Professional Nei, originally from Florianopolis, Brazil, was ranked in the top 30 during his junior career Nei played college tennis at Cowley County Community College in Kansas where he was selected All-American and finished the year ranked 3rd in the nation in doubles. 2014 he graduated from Newman University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while playing the number one position in both singles and doubles. While attaining his Master’s degree at Newman University he was the Graduate Assistant for both men’s and women’s tennis teams. Nei joined JMTA in 2018.

Alima Mohammad
Senior Professional Alima hails from Ghana, West Africa, where she became a member of the national team at the age of 7. During her junior career, she received a scholarship from the ITF Team to participate in tournaments across Africa and Europe. Her she achieved an ITF junior world ranking of No. 65 in the world, and she was a member of Ghana’s Federation Cup team between the ages 17-19. Alima also received Ghana’s athlete of the year award 5 times! She attended the City College of New York and received a B.A in Fitness & Nutrition. Alima joined SPORTIME/JMTA in 2009. |

Jonathan (Jonny) Fintak
Senior Professional Jonathan (Jonny) Fintak, born in St. Petersburg, Florida and raised in Sevierville, Tennessee, played four years of high school tennis at Seymour High School before receiving the first ever Professional Tennis Management (PTM) Scholarship granted by the USTA Foundation. Jonny enrolled in the PTM program at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he played varsity tennis and received the Bobby Bell Good Works Award for work ethic and character. In addition to teaching tennis, Jonny is also an accomplished pickleball player and coach, achieving a 5.0 rating and competing in several national tournaments. He joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team at SPORTIME Amagansett in 2020, became the Director of Camp Tennis there in 2021 and is now a member of the SPORTIME Lake Isle team. |

Ivanhoe Lissanevitch
Senior Coach Ivanhoe, originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, achieved a #1 ranking in his home country, in B18s. Ivanhoe trained at the Bruguera Tennis Academy for four years before going on to play at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. He played at IW for two years before transferring to Hillsdale College, from where he graduated with a B.A in Business. Ivanhoe joined the SPORTIME/JMTA in October 2021. |

Emily Da Silva Chang
Senior Coach Emily Da Silva Chang, originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, achieved a career-high ranking of #1 nationally in Girls 14s. Emily attended college in the United States, playing junior college tennis for Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona and ASA College Miami in Hialeah, Florida, where she was named “Women’s Athlete of the Year” and “ITA Sophomore Player of the Year”, respectively. Emily later transferred to the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, where she went undefeated for the 2019 regular season, not losing a single set, and was named Southern States Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Year and an NAIA First Team All American. After graduating with honors and earning a degree in Business Management, Emily played on the WTA International Tennis Tour for 2 years before joining the SPORTIME Lake Isle/JMTA Team in 2022. |

Claudia Soler
Staff Coach Claudia was born and raised in Valls, Spain, where she was ranked as high as #185 in the country as a junior. She attended and played women’s tennis at DI Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, and later transferred to DII Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. At LSSU, she earned a B.S. in Marketing and International Business and received the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce Achievement Award. In addition, while playing for SSU, Claudia earned NCAA DII Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors. She joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2022. |

Sahibzada Ali
Staff Coach Ali was born and raised in Peshawar, Pakistan, where he was ranked #1 nationally in Boys 14s and 16s, and #2 in Boys 14s in the Asian Tennis Federation. He represented Pakistan in the 2016 Junior Davis Cup and was part of the ITF Juniors Team in Asia. He attended DII Lake Superior State University, in Sault Ste. Marie, graduating with a B.S. in Finance and Economics and Business Administration. He played for the SSU Men’s Tennis team, and was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in 2021. Ali joined the Sportime/JMTA team in 2022. |

Staff Coach Ted Williams, originally from London, United Kingdom, grew up in Melbourne Australia. He started playing tennis at an early age, and achieved a junior career-high ranking of #10 in Australia in Boys U18s. He attended DI Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, where he earned a B.S. in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration, and was a member of the Men’s Tennis team that won the Big South Championship in 2018. Ted joined the SPORTIME team in 2022. |

Jill Spangenberg
Global Director of Retail, SPORTIME Clubs Jill has led teams and built the business for a variety of specialty retailers throughout her career. From a strong apparel background, including Kenneth Cole, Jacadi, and Hot Topic, she moved into hard lines with Yankee Candle. After 10 years of moving the business forward at Yankee and Newell Brands, it was time for a new challenge. Jill is looking forward to building teams in our Pro Shops that serve as ambassadors for the SPORTIME and JMTA brands. Jill lives in Oyster Bay, NY and will be ensuring we exceed our players and members needs in all of our locations. She is also very much looking forward to tuning up her tennis game in the fall, and seeing what the sport of pickleball has to offer! |
