Hana, originally from Kop?ivnice, Czech Republic, was a top-ranked junior tennis player in her home country. In 1997, she turned pro and went on to earn 8 ITF singles titles and 35 ITF doubles titles over a decade playing on the WTA and ITF tours, achieving career-best WTA rankings of #87 in singles and #63 in doubles in 2006. That same year, Hana reached the second round of both the French and Australian Opens, and in 2007 she advanced to the second round at Wimbledon. Hana also competed in the U.S. Open in 2006 and 2008 and was a member of the NY Sportimes World TeamTennis franchise in 2007 and 2008. She joined the SPORTIME team in 2008.
