SPORTIME Lynbrook Guidelines

We have created the following policies and guidelines for SPORTIME Lynbrook, to be followed until further notice, designed to ensure the safest, smoothest, experience for members and staff during this challenging time.  These guidelines, and our Global Guidelines, will be updated on an ongoing basis, as we receive new information and directives from governmental and other health agencies and organizations, and based on our experience navigating this “new normal”.  While some might view certain protocols as overly cautious, SPORTIME may choose to maintain them, in spite of prevailing guidance, if they make our members, customers and/or staff feel safer and more comfortable.

Please note that SPORTIME's primary and most important guidelines and protocols are contained in our comprehensive Global Guidelines; we strongly encourage you to review them carefully and in their entirety before reviewing club-specific guidelines. The club-specific guidelines are designed only to indicate where a club's protocols differ from our corporate standard, and/or to provide additional detail.

Notwithstanding all the precautions that SPORTIME will take, due to the nature of the virus, the risk of contracting COVID-19 remains, as we are all aware.  Please be safe, respect others and follow all of the precautions, protections and protocols put in place during this COVID-19 epidemic.

Club Specific Details

  • Our tennis, fitness and sports facilities are all OPEN, and enrollment for fall programming is in process!
    • Members and players must register in advance, online, by telephone (516) 887-1330, or by email, to use the facilities, including the fitness center, and to participate in group exercise classes, to reserve court time of all types, and to participate in any individual or group lessons, training or programs.     • All adults, juniors (other than group program participants who may be checked in on-court), parents/guardians of juniors and guests must check-in at reception.  No exceptions.   • Group exercise classes have resumed and our class schedule is available on our website - click here.
    • Those who cancel appointments to use the fitness center, or to participate in fitness/group exercise classes, less than 4 hours in advance, will be charged a $5 cancellation fee; those who do not show up for scheduled appointments will be charged a “no-show” fee of $15. 
  • Our showers are open to members, and shower towels are available at reception, although due to the current circumstances, and to avoid crowding in locker rooms, we ask that you refrain from showering at the club whenever possible. Showers will be disinfected after each use.
  • New traffic flow patterns, to avoid physical distancing issues as members and other move about the premises, have been established. Signage identifying these patterns, and providing reminders about physical distancing, wearing protective face coverings, and more, has been affixed throughout the club.
  • We, unfortunately, must ask that you please limit your social time at the club until further notice
