• Our facilities are open.
  
• New traffic flow patterns, to avoid physical distancing issues as players move about the premises, have been established. Signage identifying these patterns, and providing reminders about physical distancing, wearing protective face coverings, and more, has been affixed throughout the club.
  • Parents or others dropping-off and picking-up their players at SPORTIME will continue to do so at the front entrance circle of the club.  
  • Our transportation service will drop-off and pick-up players at the rear entrance of the club, other than at 4pm when drop-off will be at the front.
• Access to the indoor clubhouse building, other than to SPORTIME staff, will be strictly limited, except for locker room and restroom access, reception, pro shop, use of the athletic training center or other spaces for scheduled group and individual athletic training and training center visits scheduled in advance, and study/lounge spaces for players. For more information about spectating, including live-streaming options coming online soon, and general building access protocols, please review SPORTIME’s Global Guidelines. Spectating at Tournaments is prohibited, with the exception of semi-final and final matches for which one (1) family member per player is allowed. For more information about study areas for players, please call the club. 
  
• Hourly court-time, and per-diem private tennis lessons, private athletic training sessions and private vision training sessions must be reserved in advance, by telephone (212-427-6150) or by email. Adult and junior players must register for group programs, seasonal court-time and seasonal or series private tennis lessons, athletic training sessions or vision training in advance online or by submitting an application - click here. SPORTIME's prevailing cancellation policies apply in all cases.  
• All adult players, junior players (other than group program participants who will be checked in on-court), parents/guardians of junior players and guests must check-in at reception.  No exceptions. For more details on these mandatory check-in procedures, please review our Global Guidelines > STAFF / MEMBER / CUSTOMER SAFETY>Check-In/Health & Temperature Screenings.
• JMTA group program participants will be informed of their court bank assignments upon arrival, and will by directed by staff to the tents designated for their assigned banks when they arrive at SPORTIME to be led in by coaches. While being led to their banks by staff, and upon reaching them, players must leave their face coverings on until their temperatures are taken and they are instructed to remove them by coaches or the bank's JMTA Director. Players will also be required to sanitize their hands when they arrive on-court. 
• Per the mandate of the NYC Parks Dept., face coverings must be worn on a tennis court at all times, including during play, when their are six (6) or more individuals, inclusive of coaches, on such court. 
• Athletic Training Center & Group and Individual Training.  In accordance with NYS mandatory guidelines, JMTA and Adult Group fitness sessions will be by advanced reservation only, will be subject to capacity limitations, and participants, or the parents/guardians of participants if they are minors, will need to complete an electronic health screening prior to attending each group session, as well as prior to each individual athletic training session.  For more details on these mandatory reservation requirements and procedures, please review our Global Guidelines.
  • Most JMTA and Adult Group Fitness sessions will be held in our outdoor, side-less tents for as long as weather permits.  
  • For private athletic training sessions, participants must reply " I agree" to the appointment reminders, which they will receive the evening prior, on the day of the actual appointment.
  • JMTA Virtual group fitness sessions will be offered throughout the year, for those who want to do their athletic training off-site, or want to supplement their on-site training.  For more information on JMTA Virtual training, click here.

  • For those members who use our athletic training center to warm-up or cool-down prior to play, In accordance with NYS mandatory guidelines, a reservation and a health screening will be required. Member must complete a health screening assessment, at reception, prior to using the athletic training center.
• Our Transportation Service for JMTA program participants will be operating, with the following adjustments:
  • Our vans will operate at reduced capacity.
  • Protective face coverings will be worn, at all times, by drivers and players, no exceptions.
  • Windows will remain partially or fully open during transport; players should dress accordingly.
  • PlexiGlass will be installed between seat rows.
  • The driver or chaperone will take each player’s temperature with a no-touch thermometer, and will dispense hand sanitizer to each player, prior to boarding a SPORTIME van; a player whose temperature is 99.9 degrees or above will not be allowed to board. In such cases, the player’s parents will be called immediately, and the player will be sent back into his/her home or school.
• Showers and steam rooms will be closed, and we will not be providing towels, until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience. 
• The Cafe will remain closed until further notice. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at reception. Touchless water bottle fillers have been installed between all tennis courts; cups have been removed, so players should bring their own refillable water bottles.
• Our pro shop is open for a maximum of two shoppers at one time indoors. If you would like us to mark purchased tennis balls with players’ initials, to assist with ball hygiene, let us know and it will be our pleasure to do so.

• • NYC Parks players must call in advance to make reservations for designated permit holder courts.  No walk-ins are allowed.
  • 7:00am, 8:00am and 9:00am court reservations must be made by 8:00pm the night before, and reservations for courts from 10:00am on must be made no less than three (3) hours in advance. Court reservations are taken no more than 24 hours in advance, with a daily reservation limitation of one (1) hour for singles play, and two (2) hours for doubles play, although players may keep playing after their reserved times have ended if courts are available, upon confirming such availability with club staff.
  • All NYC Parks players must affiliate with SPORTIME as an associate/non-member, prior to play Click her or complete a guest waiver each time they play. No Exceptions.
  • A reserved court is forfeited if the reserving player has not arrived by 10 minutes past the start time.
