JR Franco
JR, originally from Lima, Peru, began playing tennis at the age of nine. He achieved a top-10 ranking in the B18 division in his home country, and was the high school league singles champion. Beginning in 2004, JR attended the University of the Sciences (now SJU), where he played on the men’s tennis team, compiling a 17-9 singles record and a 16-9 doubles record. JR earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from U Sciences in 2008, a master’s degree in finance from Universidad del Pacifico in 2020, and is set to earn an MBA in business analytics from Monroe University in 2025. JR joined the SPORTIME team in 2023.
