Welcome to the Winter Junior Tennis Session at SPORTIME Syosset!
With the goal of having the winter session run smoothly and safely, please review the information below:
Spectators
At this time, with COVID-19 spiking in our area, to maximize distancing and to limit the number of people in our buildings accordingly, spectators, including parents and guardians of our junior players, will not be permitted in the facility during winter programs. This is the least we can do to provide the safest working conditions for our employees and the safest playing and learning conditions for our players and students.
Remote Viewing
You are welcome to view your child’s tennis program using our private, hi-def, closed-circuit streaming, which can be accessed from the comfort of your car when in our parking lot. Simply click the blue sphere labeled “Camera Streaming” on our Syosset home page, and then find your child’s court.
Drop-Off
During peak programming hours, we will have a SPORTIME staff member stationed in our front entrance vestibule, waiting to greet players and to escort them to the lobby, where they will be guided to their assigned court(s). U10 Red Ball players will be escorted to the court by one of our Tennis Coaches. Parents of our youngest players may escort their children into our lobby and leave once their players are in the care of a tennis coach. Face coverings must be worn at all times.
Pick-Up
At the conclusion of all program sessions, our coaches will escort players to our facility “back door” exit, adjacent to our Multi-Sport court, which is located on the side of the building in our camp area. Parents are asked to park and meet their child at this exit. There will be signage that clearly directs parents to the proper pick-up location. Face coverings must be worn at all times.
If your child will be late arriving or if you will be late for pickup, please contact the club, so that we can make the proper and secure arrangements to assure the safety of your player. To view our full COVID Related Guidelines, please click here.

"We have 3 children (ages 6, 9 and 11) who go to Sportime in Syosset multiple times a week. Like most parents, we share concerns about COVID-19 and believe that nothing is more important than our kids' safety. We would not be sending them to Sportime if it was not for the high standards of care and cleanliness exhibited by the whole Sportime team. Sportime has worked hard to create a culture of safety and oversight that has helped to put parents like us at ease. They check temperatures every time anyone enters the building and they enforce both masks and social distancing.
Additionally, they keep the facility very clean with hand sanitizer everywhere. Furthermore, the Sportime team does a great job directing safe and well managed drop offs and pickups of our kids outside the facility which provides us with even more comfort since access to the facility is understandably limited to spectators. Finally, they do all this in a compassionate, friendly and helpful way... which is much appreciated in these difficult times. We give Sportime our highest recommendation and gratitude."
-Nancy and Simon Prince
“Having two small kids at home, I was nervous about coming back to work. But seeing the investments that Sportime made to combat the Virus put my mind at ease, knowing that I am working in a safe environment. The upgrades to our ventilation systems, sanitizing stations everywhere, and the detailed and effective guidelines that we are all following make my work experience enjoyable and as safe as possible.”
