JMTA Scholarship Tryouts for the 2025-26 Season

Two locations, two incredible days - and one unforgettable experience for the talented young athletes who showed up ready to compete.

The 2025 JMTA/JMTP Tennis & Athletic Scholarship Tryouts were a major success at both SPORTIME/JMTA locations. A total of 250 players participated across the two sites, and our team was thrilled to witness the talent, drive, and potential on display.

At SPORTIME Randall’s Island, 150 players took part, showing impressive determination and passion for the game, even in challenging heat. Three scholarships were awarded based on performance, potential, and overall attitude.

At SPORTIME Port Washington, the level of play and enthusiasm were just as high, with players demonstrating focus, athleticism, and a love for the game that stood out throughout the day.

John and Patrick McEnroe, along with SPORTIME/JMTA directors, were on-site to evaluate players and select the newest recipients of our full and partial tennis and fitness scholarships. We’re proud to welcome these rising athletes into the JMTP family and support their continued development.

This weekend wasn’t just about discovering talent - it was about recognizing effort, attitude, and the mindset it takes to grow. We’re excited to be part of what comes next.
