Jason Pasion
Jason, originally from Islip, NY, played competitive tennis as a junior and college tennis at SUNY Oswego, where he captained the men’s tennis team during his junior and senior years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oswego in 2000, and a second bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Touro College in 2007. Jason was the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at the New York Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016, and at Hofstra University from 2016 to 2021. He received the USTA Long Island Community Service Award in 2010 and the USTA Eastern Courage Award for his EMS work at Ground Zero on 9/11 and for his work as a physician assistant during the COVID pandemic in 2021. Jason also received the USTA Long Island Madeline Zausner Junior Tournament Director of the Year Award in 2024. Jason joined the SPORTIME team in 2021 as Director of Tennis at SPORTIME Lynbrook, and advanced to his current role as Global Director of Tournaments in 2025, leading the continued expansion and enhancement of tournament programming across all SPORTIME sites.
