This is an 8-week-long Doubles Team Circuit for players 18 and under from SPORTIME Roslyn, Quogue, Lynbrook/Hempstead Lake, Harbor Island, Bethpage, and King’s Park. It’s a great opportunity to compete with your friends while building your UTR and scoring points for your club. The format is flexible. Please register for your club so that your points count. Events will consist of four lines of doubles matches at SPORTIME venues twice a month. Matches follow a time-based format, and % of Games Won will be used to calculate team standings. What to Expect:

• Team Selection and Handicapping
• Players will be randomly paired and grouped into teams on Friday, July 26th at 5:30 PM, during a Happy Hour event.
• All players will receive a confidential handicap assigned by the Handicap Committee.
• Team handicaps will be calculated by combining partners' handicaps and will be publicly announced just before the auction. The Handicap Committee may make adjustments based on team strength.

Tournament Format:

• The tournament follows a Round Robin format with playoffs.
• Each match consists of a 21-point set, with the match ending at 21-20.
• Winners of each group advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs are determined based on:

• Highest number of wins
• Head-to-head in case of a tie
• Highest number of points in case of a three-way tie
• Starting score is determined by the difference in team handicaps (e.g., a team with a 10 handicap starts with a 5-0 lead against a team with a 5 handicap).
• Each player serves 4 points, with even handicaps starting on the deuce side and odd handicaps starting on the ad side.
  Teams switch sides every 8 points
• Maximum 10-minute break is allowed between rounds

Mulligans Add to the Fun:

A mulligan allows a team to erase and replay the previous point.

Mulligans can be purchased for:

• Round Robin: Maximum 4 mulligans per team at $25 each.
• Semifinals: Maximum 2 additional mulligans per team at $50 each.
• Finals: Maximum 1 additional mulligan at $100 each.
• Unused mulligans can be carried forward, but a team can only have a maximum of 4 unused mulligans at any time.
• All mulligan proceeds contribute to the "Players Pot".

Players - Join us for Verified UTR Matchplay. This event is open to all players and all levels. We will group players based on their UTR/level to provide competitive matches and level-based play.

- Get rated or improve your Verified UTR Rating. All scores count towards Verified UTR.

- All players will be placed in a 2-hour window, with a 2-match guarantee. We will let you know your match time before the event. CHECK DRAWS FOR STARTING TIME.

- Matches will be 2 out of 3 FAST4 sets, no AD-scoring, 7 pt tiebreak at 3-3, and 10 pt super tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd set.

- Refund Policy: No refund 48 hours prior to event start time
