We are excited to offer juniors and adults a wide variety of tennis and pickleball programs, including instructional clinics, private lessons and special events. Junior Tennis Programs

SPORTIME is committed to developing young tennis players. At SPORTIME Hempstead Lake, juniors have the opportunity to train at our High Performance Tennis Camp, take advantage of private instruction with a SPORTIME professional coach, or just rent courts with friends and play for fun.

EXCEL High Performance Summer Camp - Ages 8-17

Excel is the perfect summer tennis experience for young players interested in elevating their games to the next level. Our professional coaches guide players through intense drills and games, designed to teach and improve both the technical and tactical skills of the campers, during which coaches reinforce point construction and strategy skills.

Adult Tennis Programs

SPORTIME offers a complete menu of Adult lesson programming supervised by our certified tennis professionals. Whether you are looking for a great way to get in shape, learn the sport for a lifetime or play competitively, SPORTIME has something for you. Programs include Group Lessons, The SPORTIME Zone, Summer Leagues, private and semi-private lessons and more.

Adult Tennis Kinetics (Adult TK)

Adult Tennis Kinetics™ (ATK) Group Lessons is our adult lesson program that services thousands of SPORTIME members across NY. In Adult TK, SPORTIME matches compatible members into groups with a carefully matched coach, and then provides a reserved court, the same day and time each week for a set series of weeks.

The SPORTIME Zone

This high-energy, high-spirited program features challenging tennis games, just like the ones that make our world-class junior training programs so successful. Groundstroke games, volley games, approach shot and passing shot games - you name it, we play it. Meet new friends, improve your tennis skills and get fit!

The SPORTIME Summer League

Are you ready for some fun summer competition? Our SPORTIME Women's Doubles Summer League offers divisions for 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 levels. Summer League runs June 1st through August 31st with games played from 8:30am-10:30am. SPORTIME pros who are certified for private instruction are trained to customize a teaching strategy and program based on a member's unique needs. Semi-private lessons are also available for players who wish to sign up with a partner.

Pickleball

Get in on the fastest-growing sport in the Country! Pickle is fun, fast and friendly. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a challenging, athletic and fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. In addition to pickleball court rentals, SPORTIME offers instructional clinics, level-based Open Play sessions, private training and special events.

Play Pickleball at SPORTIME

Friends who would like to rent courts and play with friends, can take advantage of our easy online court reservation system. Players can reserve courts up to 3 days in advance of their play dates. Simply check in at our Welcome Center upon arrival, provide the names of your fellow players and have fun! Instructional Clinics

Do you want to improve your skills so you can be more successful at this fast-growing game? Ask about a SPORTIME group clinic with one of our certified SPORTIME instructors and take your game to the next level. Learn all the strokes, the rules of the game, how to keep score, proper court positioning and tactical play. All clinics include plenty of supervised game play too!

Private Pickleball Lessons

Players interested in personalized instruction can schedule private lessons with one of our SPORTIME instructors. Semi-private lessons are also available for players who wish to sign up with a partner.

Pickleball Tournaments

SPORTIME Hempstead Lake will be the home to multiple competitive Pickleball Tournaments during the 2023 outdoor season. Events will vary and may include men's, women's and mixed doubles formats.
